Great filming and editing as usual. Best hawaii hiker/vlogger out there. I went to those bunkers 3 weeks ago, cool area. Keep up videos

Mahalo🤙🏻 Yeah, those bunkers are nice. Was the trail in a good shape?

@@HungaroExplorer i did the loop. Besides the bunkers and swim hole at the end wasnt too much to see. The loop trail is well defined but your just walking in lauhala trees. Most mosquitoes ive ever seen at that bunker😂
@HungaroExplorer2 жыл бұрын
The mosquitoes are live well there for sure :)) I did the lower loop couple years ago and wasn’t bad, but the upper loop is not too good.

Man, I have been really looking hard for people who are willing to go into the jungle on Oahu and the other islands with me. I respect it so much. Thank you for the tips!!! I live on Oahu if you ever need a hiking partner. 28 years old, and have bagged many peaks including Rainier and such. Take care. I really respect this a lot

Aloha Colby, Mahalo for your feedback! There are plenty peopl who hikes in the jungke in the island just hard to find them sometimes :). I love to be out whenever I have time. I see you climbed some big mountains too, that’s great. If I go out another time I can let you know, however It is always random and depending on my guiding job.

I found your channel after doing Hihimanu and searching for videos. Yours are great, I'm surprised you don't have more viewers, soon I'm sure. Anyway, what pants are those? I need me some. Thanks!
@HungaroExplorer2 жыл бұрын
Thank You Grant! Hihimanu is always a fun adventure. I picked up those pants from Decathlon in Spain. There are Decathlon stores in mainland now and they have these pants for about 50$. They are very rugged pants, I like them.

Those drone shots are amazing, I once heard that there's a way to get to the KST from behind there (I might be wrong, it might be more in waikane) have you heard of anything like that?
@HungaroExplorer2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jaden, Yes, it is possible to hike up Pauao Ridge to the KST which is bordering Kahana Valley on the North and Waikane was a trail back in days from the South side of the valley. Waikane area is privately owned now, so the trail is not used and it is in very bad shape. I have done both trails before. I don’t like Waikane but Pauao is a good workout, pretty steep close ypu get to the KST.

Pants recommendation for the endless uluhe ferns in the koolaus? My pants all rip 😅
@HungaroExplorer2 жыл бұрын
I believe it!😜 My pants are holding up pretty well. I actually use a brand call Forclaz from the Decathlon store from mainland. It is only around 50$ and they are great! I have 2 pairs of them!
