Nice cars! Makes me really miss my old car, and not being back home. Stuck living overseas, nothing like the USA! When I was a kid, I meet Lew Arrington and Clare Sanders, they were working on the Shark Corvette Funny Car that day, I really wanted to see the Brutus Firebird car that day. Jungle was supposed to be there, but he didn't show up. Almost got to meet Jungle. It was Clare Sanders that right after I met him started driving the Jungle Jim second funny car and he won the 69 Winternationals, and Jungle Jim was the original driver of the Brutus funny car, the GTO. Jungle was from the city I lived in as a kid, Sunnyvale, CA.

Awesome rides ! I missed that show, never heard of it. I was at the auto mania show in Allentown, this past January. A guy there had the same Hot Wheels "Snake" display...so cool. I have one too. It's has to be at least 20 years ago I purchased her. I need a good car event, with everything going on these days! Thanks for the video....sort of like group therapy. 😷

Jungle Jim's cars & grumpys Vega.all should be remade in the hot wheels or more johnny lighting cars.would be more to collect and different gassers.

We built a NHRA AA/FF Vega that we sold to Jim Liberman in 1974. That car is at Don Garlits drag racing museum in Ocala Fl.

@@CHASINGMUSCLECARS If you ever do get to go there, take the time to take it all in. You can't imagine how much stuff there is there to see. He has more Ford 427 SOHC original engines than I've ever seen in my entire adult life and I'm 75 years old. Make sure you look close at Jungle Jim's Vega funny car. I once drove that exact car at 6.78 at 231 mph. A few weeks later, we sold it to Jungle Jim.

These were Tribute cars. Pam did show up at Maple Grove No Prep race in May 2022. Sadly I missed that event..

Just curious , this funny has an early Chrysler but I thought that I saw old footage of this car with a 426 style . Perhaps it was " whatever he happened to have at the time " ? I wonder which one he preferred ?
