Just discovered your tutorials recently. Have blasted through them all already. They're awesome. Also, your sampling is on point 😊

Very cool video! thanks and inspired! Can you do another video how find vocals?
@djgraish2 ай бұрын
Yeah, that sounds like a great video idea! In the meantime here are some ideas: • Take a vocal snippet from a movie or TV show. • Work with a singer or rapper • Make an acapella by extracting the vocal using an online AI tool. Hope that helps!

Nice, thanks. Where did you get the fill at the end of the sections (not sure if it's what you called gunshots - but it doesn't sound like gunshots so maybe not).
@djgraish3 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for your question. It is actually a gunshot from a sample pack. The click-click and bang are part of the same sample but I split it apart so that it alternates with Rosie’s vocal sample.

Now that I listen to it a second time I get total Amiga Tracker vibes. Could you tell me what you did the isolated drum bar at the end of 4 bars?
@djgraish3 ай бұрын
Thanks Christian! That’s 1 bar of the hot pants break. Its weird that I never mentioned it in the track breakdown at the end! I just put a drum buss on it, high-pass at 91hz to remove some low end, and a reverb with just under a second of decay time, at 28% wet/dry 🤓 Thanks for watching and commenting twice bro! 👊🏼

@@djgraish Ha - I'm the one who has to say thank you. I've been at this for quite a bit but sometimes I can't get my head around the easiest bits. I think it was the high pass I missed. Processing and arrangement are still a bit of a forbidden garden for me. 😄

Hi Christian, after double checking today, there’s one thing I didn’t mention about that hotpants break; I put it to complex timestretching and pitched it up by +7 semitones 😁 hope that helps
@christianvictor8273 ай бұрын
@@djgraish That does indeed help. Especially since I totally overlooked that you said Hot Pants and I was starting to scratch my head about how you convinced the Think to sound like this. 😄
