This is just sad. Remakes should be allowed in this case, this game is over before it starts, there is no point for the team to even try. This is not even close to redeemable, because it's like playing with 1 player afk. This not only ruins it for the rest of the players, but it also ruins it for the audience to watch a game like this. If it is a repeated incident, then yeah, make them play on but a small mistake is bound to happen and people should really be allowed to let it be fixed.

For bugs and glitches in the game, fine, remake. But this was human error, his lane is jungle, he should have checked that he did not have Smite. And I believe league forces you a Smite when launching a match if you are jungler, so or either he swapped it or a software like blitz did

@@MrTVx99 Actually his teammates are the *only* other people I would say *are* accountable. They can see that he is not hovering smite and remind him. But there are better punishments such as his team losing up to 10 bans in the next 2 games (5 each) and/or giving the enemy side-selection for one or both games. Both would result in more competitive games than no-smite jungler but still give a competitive disadvantage for the mistake.

because instead of having 1 player behind, you would have have 2. They would share top exp, while the enemy jg would have 2 jungles. So they would have less exp while the enemy team would have more. In addition, they probably wouldn't be able to kill gnar and top would be perma pushed, so ez ganks and kills for lee sin. But tbh, the game was lost anyways

yeah but the difference is that the client bugged, so it wasnt human error nor the player's fault. the player chose the right skin but when the game started the skin was wrong. and according to the rulebook, they are allowed to remake games for client bugs. but i only know about the one time that happened in lpl tho, not sure about the other times ure talking about :D

In total Riot could have done an in-series punishment of up to 10 bans being removed (5 from each of two games in the three game series) and two side-selections, which is a significant competitive advantage to the enemy.

if its a client issue it will be counted as an error. most likely the guy himself didnt take smite, which is why they didnt remake.

my guess is that he went into a custom game 1v1 against his teammate with TP to warm up mechanics before the game started. Then, being used to soloq, he assumed he automatically had smite, but since they are in a custom game (i.e. there is no "role" selection queue) the game defaulted to his most recenetly used summoners which was flash + tp.
