My wife bought me a Jr Brown CD about 20 years or so ago. I was a deputy sheriff and she got it for me because of the song “Highway Patrol” and been a fan since. Neither of us had ever heard the song and she really got it as a gag gift but I’m glad she got that for me. Truly a talented man. He and his wife make a great team. You can tell by the way she looks and smiles at him she truly loves him and is still impressed by his playing.

How can anyone this talented be essentially unknown when no talent hacks like Justin Bieber and a thousand God-Awful rappers are lauded around the world? Junior Brown is the best guitarist around. Tanya really strums the hell out of that guitar as well, doesn't she!

Right on. they are probably the most talented duo in music,. but radio stations target the tween, teen , and 20s year old audience. They are going to promote things like Justin Beaver and Rascal flats, with their sound alikes,. plus the vulgar crappers. This guy and wife will never be heard on the radio because of their age and they are talented and don't cuss. KZbin is about the only source for something like this.

ANSWER: Money. Look at who'd spending money on music. Most of those who liked this music are dead or certainly deaf by now. Never look past the money. Unfortunately that's what drives the world for the most part.

Teenager controlled the market in the 60´ies and layed the economic basis for eg Beatles but music like country, blues, soul, classic rock and roll and jazz will always be requested. I took a trip to downtown a while ago and it was crowded with old people. I thougt it was some kind of pensioners meeting. No, Metallica was in town.
