Ok but like Bzikebi was awesome ... they were adorable in those bee outfits, yes, but their harmonization was also spot on, and they had such high energy while still maintaining solid vocals. I agree Mariam was 100% robbed though, regardless of winning or not she still should've gotten more votes, for her stellar voice if nothing else.

I've seen a lot of people criticizing or underrating Bzikebi in videos lately, so I kind of jumped to conclusions. Also I'm sleep deprived haha. I think unfortunately the online voters have been underrating more serious songs in favor of upbeat pop in recent years. Not that I have anything against pop, and I think the recent winners have definitely been good, but a lot of really good ballads have scored low with the voters, like Banshee, or the Netherlands' song last year.

i never really understood the hype with the bzikebi song, i think that was one of the not so good georgia jesc entries, but thats just my own opinion. On the other hand georgia shouldve won this year with out a doubt, i dont think any other georgia jesc entry has been more deserving of win or came close to topping mariams performance, it was just that good. I dont know if ill be able to rewatch this years contest for a long time if ever because ill just be horrified at the reminder that mariam didnt win. Mariam was robbed so hard, i feel so bad for her :(
