It was 117 not 170 and if the song fails to become the jury favourite it doesn't mean that voting is meaningless.

Its fair in the way - the points are given for 2 performances, they all need to be perfect. Imo Portugal would easily win if so. But juries are scoring a different performance, than you saw. This is something which should be communicated much much more.
