She said in this stream she spends so much time on the Models that she doesn't come up with Lore, but there's a lot of evidence that her species is a Hivemind: She's had several toggles of the Normal and Baby forms co-existing, yet she can speak through any of them. There's also the "Punt Baby" Point Redeem, which spawns a separate Baby who then gets kicked, and she usually grunts in pain at that, especially when Chat redeems several at once.

Honestly i heard someone say that it could be a hivemind of moths, so maybe have the "full moon form" be the center of the hivemind and mother (like the xenomorph queen, except with full control of the offspring like a homunculus flesh puppet). of the "models" and other members of the hivemind. the moth mommies are some of the children that have matured to be used as vessels for hunting prey (like how a siren lures sailors into the water to drown them) and the puntables are the offspring who have emerged from their pupae the earliest.
