Thanks Tom. Glad I took the time to watch and learn. Would love to hear from color blind players about the pieces.

This looks like awesome fun especially with the right group. Perfect for kids, too (although not TOO young). Definitely buying this one when it comes up here. Great job, Tom.

What's your impression about wood version vs plastic? I have wood and even if the game is brand new, parts are all bent, none of the same type are equal... pretty disapointed about that for a game that relies on physics.

I'm cool with my copy of Animal upon Animal for stacking. Thanks for review Tom.

+The Dice Tower I don't know why you're comparing them. There aren't much similarities between them.

Isn't this the same as Bandu?

How does it go up to a six player game with just four colors?
@jaycormier40418 жыл бұрын
+Jason Delgado Actually there's only 1 game in the box in which players take all of one colour. The rest of the games use the pieces in different ways. Mostly the cards you have in your hand dictate the pieces that will be played.

I noticed Road to Legend back there. Playing a 1st ed campaign?

It looks very similar to some other dexterity games. I'm not quite seeing what makes this a step above the others, but it looks decent enough.

Just looks a bit like a rehashed Bausack/Bandu/Sac Noir. I really like the auction strategy of Bausack.

My dad is colour blind and we had to tell him which pieces were what colour lol

Indeed this game seems "inspired" by Bausack (now also called Bandu). In his review of Bandu, Tom says that Junk Art is a much better game. I completely disagree, on practically all counts. In my opinion, the pieces of Bausack are way superior (prettier, chunkier, funnier, better quality), and so is - first and foremost - the game-play, especially when you manage to dig up (on BGG?) the numerous variations that used to be in the rules of the original game, but have inexplicably disappeared from recent editions.

Yeah me too, me played Bausac to death when I first got it.

+Cthulwho? And it still sees the light of day now and again (though I replaced the kidney beans 😄). That certainly had pieces designed to fit together well, and a few that were designed to look as though they fit just to catch you out. 😩

@my 7 years younger version: This game is so much better than Bausack. On the 08.07.2023 some co-workers are visiting my place, they never played board games other than UNO or similar. Junkart will be one game I will present to them. Love to introduce people to this great hobby.

I feel like I am missing something about this game as it looks kinda meh to me though Tom hasn't steered me wrong yet.

Way too expensive for what it is... I'd rather keep playing Splash!!! (One third of the price?!). I'll wait for the "poor gamer's version" like they did with Flick'em up!

To be honest, I really hate this game. It is way too complex for a dexterity game. When I want to play a world tour with just three different cities, I have to explain three different game modes to my friends. It is so annoying, that I only tried it a few times. When I play a stacking game I want to stack some pieces and not reading through the rulebook every five to ten (!) minutes. Buying this game was really frustrating to me. Can't understand the positive reviews. I will stick with Bausack, Jenga, Super Rhino and Villa Paletti, as they do a much better job. Thanks for the video.

It's no one's fault that you read at a 2nd grade level but your own. The rules are rather simple. Not as simple as you, evidently.

@@HomestarRunner20X6 The above user has valid concerns when it comes to dexterity games that you're trying to introduce to others, especially people who don't normally play board games. Way to welcome someone into the board game community. Clearly you can't handle any criticism as you're resorting to personal attacks. Your type is one of the biggest issues with this hobby.
