This video helped me alot. I need to pull the seat platform/gas tank cover on my '02 TR-185 DC to get to the screws holding the middle seat back cushion. My factory driver and passenger seats tilted forward on a piano hinge, so they were fairly easy to change. I would have never guessed those long ass screws were in that area though. Funny how mine is a totally different configuration. Thanks and looking forward to the finished product. It's a great hull!

Joe, consider adhering some kind of waterproof foam layer between the deck and the carpet, Especially the bow. I did a full carpet replace on my boat and after a few years it has since compressed and some extra padding would have been nice. Just my 2 cents, but looking forward to seeing your build!

Really debated it but I do like the carpet and the old boats would have huge cracks because they made the hatches smaller to fit a double folded carpet

If you like carpet do it , but I’d go without carpet or be way less carpet , and go to the rubber floor stuff like Jay Siemens off you tube is partnered up with , can make it custom with sayings and looks great , can make it in deferent colour configurations as well
