Just FYI, if the ink from the friction pen gets cold, it show up again. =) Maybe use a gel pen instead that ink wipes off easy with a damp cloth, or finger. something water soluble

I didn't have a problem of the friction pen ink showing up again. Maybe it also depends on the color of the pen or on the fabric that you are using it on...? Strange 🤷‍♀🤷‍♀

@@MyPaperEnvelope Mine is black, and i think i played with it on paper, not fabric, but when i put it in the fridge, it came back instantly, lol. So if the journal was say sitting in a car in the winter, it would show up. ;) Ill try it on fabric.

@@iteeshollow I wonder how it goes with fabric. Thanks for getting back :)

You create beautiful things!!! I am wondering if you could show in more detail how you use the downloads printing on both sides of the paper. How you decide on pages. If this makes sense.

Deane, I didn't really decide on a specific image B to be on the back of the page with the Image A. If there are 24 page designs in the paper kit, I just pront the first 12, and then flip them over and print the next 12. As easy as that :) If you need to have a specific image in the back of another specific one, you will just have to take more time printing each one of the images separately while flipping the page over every single time while printing.

Alexandra, this is absolutely beautiful, and you did an awesome job with your explanations. I have ONE question-what particular sewing machine do you use that went through chipboard and such. Thank you so much for your time. Have a wonderful weekend.

i get confused about cardboard. What is medium weight cardboard 30pt or 50pt? or something else. I hear medium weight then I look for medium weight and I get a pt number and what is a correct pt number?

Wow! I've been wanting instruction on how to construct books like this that look professional and this is excellent. The only questions I have are-what type of sewing machine needle are you using, what type of thread, and are you using the longest stitch length (looks like it)? I love your attention to detail! Thank you.

I’m a little confused why you made the acetate pockets so shallow. I would be afraid things would keep falling out. It seems that if you did not glue the entire back of each page, putting glue a little lower on back would leave things more secure. I must say your tutorials are the best I’ve watched. Thank you for your sharing. You are professional quality! I may try making my slots deeper. 😊

Muslin is cotton, too. Also, raw silk can be used, it's incredibly strong but has a soft hand. Linen is strong, too, and was used in very early times. Gorgeous work!!

I know what you mean, that's why I ALWAYS use my sewing machine on top of the glue stick. In addition, if you iron the fabric right away after you it down to paper, the glue stick actually works pretty well. Try it :)
