Very pretty so far I just found your Etsy shop when researching journals and scrapbooks. Starting too buy inks and paper cutter and all the stuff since looks like fun. Good demo too. My great grandmother was German and her folks came directly from Germany.

Hello. 😊 Just subscribed today and have watched almost all of your videos. I'm an artist but not a scrapbooker, etc. However, I've been building my supplies, knowledge and all for months now. I'm always seeking videos for my learning. So here we are...lol. I do have a question or 2... about the brush you use to spread out the glue. What kind is it? Does the glue dry fast on it? And how do you clean it? I've tons of brushes but not sure any of them would work without drying bad. Looking forward to seeing more. And thank you. 😊

Hello! So glad to have you join our craft family, welcome! 🤍 As for the brush, it's just a cheap, synthetic bristle paint brush we picked up from Walmart. The plastic bristles hold up fairly well over time, we've been using this one for years! I don't notice the glue drying fast on it....would really depend on which glue you are using (we really like Fabri-Tac glue because it's not water based and won't wrinkle your paper). We don't paint with it or anything, it's "the glue brush" that we use exclusively to smooth out our glue. We clean it by soaking it in warm soapy water, rinsing it, and leaving it to dry as soon as we are done with it. Hope this helped!

I would like to do a sort of memory journal for my grandson who is turning 7 in September. I'm kind of stumped on what all to put in it. It was had to find paper for a little boy but finally got some Peter pan paper. Could you do a journal for a little boy to show what may go in one? That would be fantastic. I have not seen anyone do a journal for a little boy.

Hi sorry I don't recall the weight, but I just use regular printer paper for the papers and regular cardstock (not too thick) for the cards, etc. My printer is a Canon TS9120.

Hi, the cards I printed on cardstock. The papers & envelopes I printed on paper. :) Although some of the papers I printed on cardstock if I decided they worked better for the project that way.
