I’ve been scrapbooking 😬 25 years…long before the advent of all the supplies etc. that are available now. I love your videos…you’re so creative and I need some inspiration. G’day. 🇺🇸💜

Your art journal is absolutely beautiful!! Any time I see an art journal I have a desire to paint but never do so. Also, I love the new cabin themed ephemera. 😊

I always love even you use your own printables. There's nothing more inspiring and beautiful than seeing people use their own art that they created, to journal with. It doesn't just make me want to have those pieces but also really inspires me to make my own little paintings specifically to use as journal pieces.

I love this kit! I spent a whole evening watching the Olympics and cutting everything out. They are all so much fun and I adore the green paper with the yellow flowers. The little cabin theme is perfect as we are nearly done building our little summer house up north and I want to document its progress. These pages are perfectly cozy for our little house in the woods.

I have a question that you may or may not have answered before: do you journal every day? and if so, do you always make them pretty and decorated? or are they sometimes chill?

I love you videos and journals and have been watching you for years. This is random but I was reading your kids order lists they made you and noticed they all had written recess with and item or items written under. So I live in America and I know your in Australia so I was curious do your school age children get drinks and snacks at recess? In America that is not an option no matter what age the child is. They eat lunch and then there are water fountains and some schools at some ages let them bring a water bottle. Also just out of curiosity do you pay in advance for those orders or get a bill or is it something that is provided? I just think it’s so interesting to learn how other countries do things that normally we just assume are done the same way we do them.
@mael20393 ай бұрын
Where I live, kids bring their own snacks for recess and they always bring water bottles. They drink in class as well and mostly also eat in class but I know for sure that your teacher can't not let you drink and pretty much all teachers I had let you eat as well. For lunch you can send your kid to cafeteria if you want, and you pre-pay, but we only have afternoon classes on some days, not every day and many kids go home for lunch. Northern Italy, the German speaking part has its own school system.
@JohannaClough3 ай бұрын
Here in Aus, kids can pack lunch or order, or buy food at the canteen. My kids usually just have packed lunch, but every now and then they get an order, which I can do online on a website, where I pay immediately. Otherwise they could take in cash and and order that way. We have both recess and lunch, plus a fruit break in the morning where they can eat some fruit or veg in class 🥰 they also can drink their water really anytime. Recess is the shorter break than lunch x
@ashliehazen25153 ай бұрын
@@mael2039 wow that’s so interesting that going home for lunch is an option! That isn’t even an option for high school age kids which is a bummer because we live very close (few minutes walking distance) from the high school and my boys would have loved to be able to come home for lunch. You can pack your lunch or order for cafeteria in America as well. One thing that has recently changed and outraged parents is this new policy. Kids can no longer charge even 1 penny so if they don’t have enough on there card then they don’t eat which is ridiculous. They also held diplomas and didn’t allow kids to buy prom tickets if they had an outstanding balance for any reason (school fees, uniforms text books , computer fees etc.) so the community heard about this and was appalled and we ended up collecting enough money to pay off all of those kids “debt “ so they could go to prom and graduate. It’s not a the parent doesn’t want to pay situation it’s a parent literally can’t afford to pay but the school didn’t care. We are having a sort of education crisis in America in case you haven’t noticed. Shortage of teacher because they don’t get paid a livable wage, crazy politicians banning books it’s just nuts over here at the moment. My 8th grader had more substitute teachers than actual teachers this last school year (we r on summer break) one class he had different substitutes all year.
