hey Jezza, I wouldnt use these precious envelopes to do this type of creation, these are best for envelopes that have come in the recent mail, keep your grandmothers for showing off the beutiful envelope in your journal, they will look great as they are, it would be sad to cover them up ✨ ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna happy crafting
