OMG! My mother used to beat her coffee back in the 70's! She used to clean the house of a fashion designer in NYC and that's who taught her how to do it for them; then she'd do it for herself on Sundays. I really do appreciate you not speeding through the mixing! I've not seen one video that shows the process like this and it's really important because a lot of people, including myself, get a little bit anxious when I'm not sure how something should be looking on its way to it getting where it should be (did that make sense??? 😂) anyways love it!!!!

Yeah, I liked seeing the whole process too, it helped me understand what the transformation from liquid to a creamy foam consistency looked like, how long it took, and what it should look like all through the process.

TIP: The water does NOT have to be cooled down. Fresh boiling water will help the sugar disolve faster which will lessen the beating/mixing time ;) Having said that, I really need to try the mocha version! But I only use 1 tablespoon of each not 1/4 of a cup lol

You can also add some whipping cream as you are mixing. It will speed up the thickening process and add that touch of cream that a lot of people like in their coffee. Then poor over milk or drink as is. Thanks Sara.
