Nah, boss. Direct hit damage has always been 120. 40 for impact plus the 80 splash.

@@SpeedShadow54 I thought 2 direct hits kill Reaper, which means it has to be at least 125 and I remember that in a patch Junkrat got buffed to 130 after the patch they wanted to try give Frag Launcher damage ramp up and fall off.

It was direct hit to mine that insta-killed reaper. 120 from direct and 130 from mine, but I think they nerfed it to 120 or 110.

So happy that junk finally got a for noobs vid!! As someone loosely who mains him, he’s super easy to pick up and play around with, and I definitely think everyone should try him! He can be a little tricky to get really good with, but when you do actually start to understand more about his play style he can be an absolute menace. if you’ve ever played against a really good Junkrat you definitely understand what I mean lol

let's be real, the fact that junkrat hasnt been touched at all (or at least practically) in terms of reworks or kit changements signifies that he's pretty balanced and is good do be played. imo getting used to his mechanics is hard but playing him in general is really smooth, a good start for new players

when i started playing overwatch, junkrat was my go to (u can probs tell by my pfp) but it took me more then a year to get to masters where i am now, i basically got stuck at plat then had to start making plays like Vulture (best junkrat player imo)

@@clonewarskid112SAVE UTIL always try to have at least one mine. I like to play higher up when i can. flank and take off angles when SAFE (try to kill one person max and if you mess up just retreat. DONT DO ANYTHING TO DIE, YOUR MORE HELPFUL WHEN ALIVE. (try to stay back when need to) (this is coming from a gold player lol)

The secret to get value with rip-tire the most of the times is by giving the enemies the less time possible to react to it. An example that I always use, I use the triple mine tech to get really high, junk doesn't make much noise in the air for some reason so most of the time enemies won't expect, you drop in the middle of the enemy team, for example in the payload or in the capture points, they will only hear: "Fire in the hole!" And explode. Or you can also hide on some random spots of the map an wait for the enemy team to engage, same thing.

another tip from a Junkrat main, if you use ult and they desperse quickly, hard target the Mercy if there is one or they'll undo your damage quickly and leave you to cry in a corner

As a Junkrat main (yup, 1032 hours on him only) I love flying around and diving from a 90 degree angle on a group of enemies, cuz they always suspect a Mortar Junk but never a Kamikaze Junk who gets right into the thick of it! And not to forget, Junkrat + Total Mayham = Carnage!
