I play Junkrat a bunch, and I'm slowly working on his combos and reads rather than just spamming down halls. Bullied a DPS into switching Pharah and proceeded to keep bullying them for the remainder of the game. It was fantastic

As a Junkrat player, he's fine the way he is right now. Isn't like Sojourn who joined the game and instantly being a broken pick. You can take Junkrat out with any sort of sniper, with Pharah, most tanks and even the supports can handle him quite fine. He's not unbeatable and not having an annoying deflect up or can one shot you with one single mine/grenade unlike the sniper meta does right now.

Genji cannot get kills around corners spamming at a choke, genji cannot send literally a entire team flying in the air with 1 mine, junkrat ultimate doesn't really require a nano boost to get max value from. With the Cassidy grenade when you want to blade you pretty much required to have a nano because if you mess up the deflect you instantly die during blade. How is junkrat more fair compared to genji? Genji is absolutely dogshit at the moment. Ontop of that junkrat can still 1shot, and can still get a 1shot around a corner just spamming at a choke

Junkrat is what every hero should be designed like. He’s just hilarious. Getting kills in bs ways is so fun. Death bombs are the epitome of hilarity. He’s good but not like unbeatable good. His entire kit just feels catered to make you laugh

If Junkrat took damage from his own explosives like Pharah does then he would be perfectly balanced. He did in the original beta I think.

Nah, he used to but there was nothing balanced about it. He was borderline unplayable. Unlike Pharah, he relies on close up play Junk taking damage from his nades just doesn't make sense.

Explosive characters deal so much damage and because of his aoe mine, should not be close range characters. Explosives should have consistent threat for explosive dealing characters. Just because he's Australian, he's immune to bombs? Makes no sense

Pharah shoots explosives from range. Junkrat shoots from up close. I hate junkrat as much as anyone, but that would make him unplayable

Meh, if this game wanted to appeal to people that likes non aim dependant heroes, ow devs shouldnt have added hitscans. There's nothing more infuriating when you are playing a skillful character to get completely obliterated by a moron whose only skill is to press a button without any notion of aiming whatsoever, and just spams a choke point and feels super glad about the kill he got by mere lucky. (And its not even a rank thing; otherwise flats and other higher players who play this poor excuse of a char wouldnt be able to do anything with him)
