Yep a Maxima rebadge. Not great cars. I'd much rather have had the Camry next to it.

Agreed, the old Camrys were almost indestructable

Nissan definitely in the back seat these days compared to Toyota , even Honda is struggling in the look’s department in my opinion as far as trying yo compete with the newer Camry . I bought my wife a new 2024 Camry last May , we finally had enough of that gas hog Infinity Q80 we had when we met up at the Hamfest in Shelby , Nc a few years ago . Best vehicle choice Ive ever made . It’s the XSE model so it has the nice wheels , upgraded suspension and appearance package with the 4 cylinder. It handles like it’s on rails , and gets 35 to 38 mpg consistently at anywhere from 60 to 80 mph on trips . Nissan Altima definitely lost the race in comparison in my opinion . No one wants that nightmare CVT transmission , plus Altima doesn’t make a 4 cylinder model like Camry that has the tighter , sporty suspension. They’re sloppy and dangerous. Just my opinion after owning a 2015 Altima a few years Always enjoy the junkyard adventures !! 73’s

The problem with the newer Nissans is they are not reliable and have tons of transmission issues. You were very smart to go with the new Camry. If you take care of it, there is no reason why it could not last 300k miles. The mpg is impressive considering you are driving like a mad man at 80

@@FarpointRestorationsAndRepairs Not me , my wife 🫢 I’m ratting her out ! My driving fast days were over years ago ! Most of our driving is interstate miles , 70 to her means 80 . But it really is a great car !

@@FarpointRestorationsAndRepairs None . The driving is so bad on our highways , doing 10 over is being a saint and applauded .
