I have a 2000 Corolla with 210,000 miles on it. It is truly a beater with a heater. It is my first beater car, ever, where the air conditioning still works. In fact, everything on the car works. Personally, I'm a big Honda fan, but Toyota has really impressed me the last few years that I've had this car. In that sense, I'm not too surprised that your A/C still works.

Good save. The engine sounds great after sitting for so long. I think that the wires were tin coated copper, not aluminum. Although, the diameter was larger than would have thought would be necessary for copper wire. Then again, it doesn't matter. It funny that I had a 1973 Mazda and they used the same compressed bellybutton lint under the carpets back then.
