+CarsandCameras Maybe it was just the fisheye on the cameras, but it looks like the steering geometry on Ike's cart is causing him to lose contact patch on the outside tire during a sharp corner. you can see it at 2:50 when Ike first loses it... the tire seems to roll onto its edge as soon as he tries to correct his slide.

ikes problem is that he carried too much speed into the corners... john entered them at 13/14 and ike entered them at 15-17 causing him to spin or scrub a bunch of speed. yes i wanna see a rematch

Building a go kart soon, my engine is a 5hp honda gv200 it's not very powerful so i've done some mods to it and i've yet to do some more. The flywheel was lightened a lot with huge holes drilled around it then balanced with a shaft shoved through the middle and then putting it on a table and seeing which way it rolled lol. ported and polished the ports and then polished the head a little. Now i'm doing the camshaft and valve springs, probably going to take the bench grinder to the camshaft ;) it'll lose valve lift but it'll have a longer duration! hoping to do twin carbs next but i need to find another tecumseh carb in my garage :/
