I'm watching your camping video from yesterday right now. Those mountains with the snow on the background is awesome. So are both of your hats. I need more information about where you got those. And Cuervo's jacket is badass also. I want to go backpacking with you sometime. No more car and cooler and that kind of shit though. Just what you have on your back for, let's say, two days. No shelters or picnic tables or seeing your car from where you're camping, just surrounded by nature and what you carried on your back. Has to be some place with a water source though so we can filter. Great video brother!

Hey guys, Happy New Year! Nice chilly camp out in southern NM. Green chili/chile stew is a staple here, I live in NM about three hours northeast of your location there but no matter location, the food is just as tasty. My variation of the stew uses green chili as the main ingredient by volume with pork stew meat. Needless to say, a runny nose will almost be expected depending on heat of the chili. The desert mountains are always beautiful summer or winter, Cuervo's music is most fitting, thanks. Great video, thanks for the trip and sights. Enjoy!

That’s how we normally cook it, cooking the sausage and mushrooms in a cast iron then throwing it in. But we were short on time.

We always liked to heat up our head gear to dry out the sweat band since even a little moisture will give you a chill.Have you considered using the Zippo hand warmers? They can last for eight hours and are less wasteful. Cuervo has a Waylon Jennings vibe going on.

Next time add 2 tablespoons of flour to your stew, but first put it to water to break it down, pour in and it will thicken your stew up and makes it delicious.

Thanks for sharing your recipe. I'll definitely be trying that later. Looks great. One of my favorite cold weather meals is Chicken Paprikash. It has one of those flavor combinations your brain can't seem to get enough of, so you eat way more than you thought you would. On special occasions like camping, I also like to have a single puff of cannabis and half a cigar. Something light like a Nub Cincinnati 354. Both tegether tend to bring out strong feelings of gratitude and appreciation.

Here's something you may enjoy, I used to live out in the country, and I never bothered the animals to come in the front and backyard, which was about 6 acres total, so they was all used to seeing me I would just show up even when I was outside working, that included the fox, one day I was making some hot dogs, and a walk to the truck to get the buns, I turned around and the fox was running off with every one of my hot dogs, he didn't even leave one for me. They are probably like me. Any time I camp with insulated boots in weather warmer than like 5 degrees F I regret it. As long as I keep the rest of me warm my feet are the last thing that ever gets cold.

when its cooking and potatoes are softening, use the ladle or spoon to much some potatoes to release starch, it'll thicken upon the stew
