Hi from Pennsylvania. I live in the mountains and trout streams of central Pennsylvania. Getting ready for deer season. My advice get out of new york. And come here. You can live comfortably on 1/3 the money. And I can have any gun I want that's legal. And my town of 80 people has no crime. 1 state trooper for our county. And we don't need him. We take care of ourselves. Surrounded by farm land and massive forest. Way more than new york.😊

One way to really step up your soup game, is to saute and slightly caramelize your veggies, in olive oil, before adding the water, spices and other ingredients. I almost always omit onions (not scallions), too. They overpower. But not so much when you caramelize them. Doing that to the veggies will give you a super rich broth that water alone, cannot. And soup must have squash in it lol. So good. A squeeze of lemon in each bowl is also good. Some grated peel, even. And green chile. Always. I used to make a fish stew, quite often. Senegalese Seafood Stew. It has chunks of fish, sweet potatoes, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, parsley, some other herbs.. super good.

Pardon me but your fishing technique leaves much to be desired. Firstly, never crane a fish out of the water on the fishing rod. It’s cruel to put the whole weight of a live fish on the hook in its mouth. . It also shocks the fish if you need to return it to the water. When landing a fish of any size bring it gently to a landing net and lift if from the water in the net. Secondly, some of the trout shown being taken, were way too small.
