This song is legendary, not just in Pakistan or amongst Pakistanis. This was big all over the subcontinent, including Bangladesh, and, as you said, those of us that grew up in the 80s and 90s, it’s a favorite of ours. Thanks for covering this because we didn’t have the technology back in the day so it’s nice to listen to these tracks and talk about things we all love about them. Also, had no idea they tried to recreate this with Arijit Singh…seriously WTF. I like Arijit Singh but that was completely unnecessary.

The intro is soooo nostalgic, each time i listen to the intro i instantly remeber the first time i heard it. As a kid i didn't understood the lyric, but the music was so unique that i loved it.It brings back memories of a golden time. Thank you for this one
