Excellent content. Yes the JNCIA is next as Juniper switches are making their way into our once sole-sourced Cisco network. I have to say, I like the Juniper approach.

I dreaded the change from Cisco to Juniper once, but I have to say, in many things I prefer Juniper

@@andrewohanian5132 That's really good news! Congratulations! What's next? More certification, or working with Juniper equipment?
@andrewohanian51323 жыл бұрын
@@NetworkDirection Thanks! I don't work with Juniper equipment at the moment. I'm an enterprise engineer but I've become interested in learning more about SP technologies like MPLS, layer 2 VPNs, ISIS, and going more in-depth with BGP and OSPF. Currently I do a little of "everything" at my job (DNS, DHCP, load balancing, firewalls, as well as light route and switch). But I want to go deeper into routing than I get at my job day-to-day. So I decided to start going down Juniper's SP cert track - next will be JNCIS-SP!

Kudos to your awesome content. I specially enjoyed learning about the "traceroute monitor" and running the monitor command live. I was able to find enough content to monitor transit traffic using srx high/low platforms, but is it also possible to monitor transit traffic on EX platforms apart from using sflow or port mirroring?
@NetworkDirection Жыл бұрын
No, as far as I know, these platforms will require port mirroring to monitor You can do packet captures directly on an SRX though

Can you show us how to remove and add switches from/to a chassis? I have a chassis with 5 sws and one is faulty, I want to replaced it!!!
