Wow Jun. We are very brave kind of lady. Camping alone in the dark. I still remember, when I was left alone overnite in a tent during a "burung hantu" session at outbound school, Lumut. I was so scared like hell. Salute you Jun.

Before I get in the tent to sleep, I would smoke the inside of the tent with a mosquito repellent, leave it for few mins, before I finally go in :)

Hi jun..... if you interested car camping on top of the hill without any disturbing, I suggest 1 place at my hometown. The place at Gemas N.sembilan. From top of the hill you can see the nice view of padi field and also gunung ledang. The hill name Bukit 2 juta located at Kampung Ulu Ladang Gemas. Actually this hill is for water tank belong of SAINS Negeri sembilan. Also this hill is open for recreation. The name of Bukit 2 juta is taken from this tank capacity, means 2juta liter. Also you can drive your car to the top.

I've seen people with roof top tents and there more trouble than there worth, good for one or two night camping if that's your thing but you are completely restricted if you want to go sight seeing or need supplies, every time you move you have to pack everything up and if it's an open camp site someone else might have taken it when you get back.

well, what do I know... This place is just 10 mins away from my parents place and didn't even know of its existence. Shame on me. We just got back from a campsite near Sedili in Johor. You can have same tent & car set up right by the beach. Might want to try. Have fun with the new awning and let us know your feedback in the future.

Hello there, what do I do when I camp? It depends on the location and what it has to offer. Most of the time I just chill at the campsite, because ultimately I'm just looking to relax and unwind in nature, that's all. Fresh air and coffee while looking at lush greeneries - enough to make me happy :)

relaxing camping trip~ had to comment though cause i don't see others talking about it.. please be more careful using the parang(machete) in future, swing parallel to your body(vertically) rather than towards yourself or place the strike point on another branch and swing while in kneeling position.. notice your toes are scared for their lives for a second there? Hey, you have the appropriate gears and vehicle to camp. Why not you try to camp at higher altitude area ykwim? Like try watching Go4x4 KZbin channel. I love hills but I couldn’t find nice hills to camp at west Malaysia. Also I’ve been watching your vids and I like how you keep camping simple.

Hi Fredric, I don't know the exact height of the car now but it's not significantly taller than before, maybe just about 10cm taller. Please go ahead with camping! Thinking or worrying too much will not make it happen. Trust me mosquitoes will not be a big issue. You can use coils, repellents, or just choose a clean campsite in the highlands! Cheers :)

Wow. You have some really great campsites near you and they are empty at the weekend 🥳 Thinking about a rooftop tent? Think about how you get it on and off the car if you are alone and where you store it. Those things are heavy and your car is high! If you keep it on the car will it be safe? Will it be exposed to weather 24/7? Some need quite a bit of muscle to get set up. Just saying you need to do a bit of research and ask people on campsites who have them before you spend your money.

Hello Paul, thanks again for dropping by my channel! Appreciate your advice on the rooftop tent, definitely would be a pain to get it on and off the car. I've done quite a bit of research over few years and I found the hard shell pop-up tent to be suitable. It's permanent on the car, and it just 'pops up' effortlessly. More expensive though. So yes, I still need to do more research!
