The main reason why there's distortion and a smaller amplitude at higher frequencies, is the capable bandwidth of the oscilloscope. For a 80 MHz you would need at least a 200 MHz capable oscilloscope !!!

Hugi, great work...a couple of questions/comments. Is the BT module included?... One thing that seems absent or lacking from some reviews is the instruments low signalevel abilities. We always see the 1V, 2V or greater outputs which doesnt speak to mV levels free of internal noise. This is important when working into the RF regions. Yes of course an external 50 ohm attenuator can be used but this doesnt help sugnal to noise ratios. Thanks again for your work. Gene

Thanks for the nice video! I am quite new to the field so please excuse if this is a stupid question. I was under the impression, that the amplitude of 3.6 V shown at 32:07 is the peak-to-peak amplitude, as on the device itself it also says 3.6 Vpp. However, the plot in the software shows a wave from -3.6 V to 3.6 V. Is this a mistake in the software-plot or am I missing something? Thanks in advance :)

Hi, I think you're right and that might be some kind of bug in the software, since even if it is really small, on the oscilloscope you have 1,8V +/- in the VPP section, second square on the bottom. But nice catch. Thanks for watching.

Hi Maria, yes it is. I think I show that in the video, but if failed to show, I can confirm that it does allow you to change the impedance. Not sure if allow you to specify different impedances, but almost sure it does too. Thanks for watching!

Hi, I will try to test what you need to know, but can you explain better what you need to have? You want to be able to program the sweep, vco and modulation?
