agreed seeing that kinda pissed me off. They built up Skyfox as stronger and it taking 100 heroes to take him down. The whole massive power signature coming from him in Russia etc. Walter was built up as one of the physically weaker among the heroes so that makes no sense. very lazy writing....suddenly summoning fire wtf random. We see some of them can survive nuclear blasts but not a little fire?

Is nobody gonna talk about how Barnabas gets just immediately squished even though he was able to take on a robotic drone that weighs twice as much as his own body but can’t even take a 50 foot tall woman sneaker coming down on him not to mention he has the power to manipulate molecules so that should already tell you that this guy is OP

Danny your points are on point. This comic was rushed and all over the place. Powers are to deus Ex machina for me. the point about the numerous powers i asked that same question last video. How did so many people get powers. How is it that so many people have multiple different powers? You have someone that is super strong, can fly, Pyrokinesis, telekinesis snd in some ways invulnerable wtf. everyone seems to be so Op it’s ridiculous.

The ONLY thing that makes the power rod being used in THAT way only at the end is I like to think Hutch has no clue what the limits or if there are limits to the rod so he has really just been trying things and they have all worked. THAT teleportation was a desperate last resort that thankfully worked for him.

He reverse engineered a power sapping gun while falling thru anti matter, it’s completely believable he could whip the power rod up in no time, plus he already knows what he needs to build it, it’s not like he’s discovering any new information here to be able to create the rod

I also felt that Jupiter's Legacy & Jupiter's Circle weren't set up well enough to ultimately make it Hutch's story with him being the principle, resolving protagonist. His wife (see I am not even sure of her name, Chloe, maybe?) seems like she would have been the better focal character.

My favorite moment in this book is hutch screaming the one thing you should never scream in an airport while running and waving his arms around. I'm so hoping on netflix they show the cops freaking out about seeing their parents dressed up as clowns and doing it

I'm sorry but after going over both series, I really didn't find an attachment to any characters, perhaps the story is just too short, but I really could careless about any of these heroes. Also with all the points Danny made about the ending leaving alot unexplained, it shows this is really an underdeveloped comic series, that was given way more credit than it deserves and this actually getting a TV series is really an example of the networks making anything from comics from a lack of ideas of there own.

7.5? Really? Everyone interprets stories differently I guess. :) I enjoyed your review but one question: why do you think that Walter took the flames from the explosion to kill Skyfox? It looked to me that he, like other super powered beings in this story, may have had multiple powers, possibly including pyrokinesis. Just because Millar didn't directly show it before in the story doesn't mean it wasn't there. Regardless, it was a bit disappointing to see Skyfox die by Walter's hand. He never really got to see/fulfill his revenge. Regarding how there are so many super powered people - I suppose we have to presume there was a bit more promiscuity among the 6 heroes we know of as well as the possibility that others were also called to the island over the decades. There were likely other advances made to "give" people powers - since it was established that powers could be taken away a given to others fairly easily. Good work!!! I'd love to see your take on Kick Ass and even Nemesis.

One problem i had with the finale is that the general population of america is just like fine with superheroes just saying we’re sorry we’ll be better. Like you guys have been living in a super hero totalitarian state for 10 years. And it wasn’t supervillains taking over the world like no it was the superheroes with supermans son and his brother leading them. Like wouldn’t you be super distrustful of superheroes after that? How are people just ok with them being around? Then again i guess they don’t really have much choice in that

Yes. That is also a good question. Utopian visited Jupiter and found that device and underground city there, but that doesn’t seem super significant yet.

Yeah this was overhyped and had huge plot holes throughout the story. It’s crazy to think this was the same guy who made Red Sun Superman. Maybe because things were already established like powers it was easier for him. One major plot hole is why tf didn’t Walter make a meta human scanner ? What’s the logical reasoning behind don’t ask? Like others said how is there so many people with powers?why did Hutch not teleport on top of the plane and just teleport it? Why did Starfox set those explosions if he knew of Walters powers? I see why they wanted to change the story it’s not well done at all.

Well, honestly, both Walter and Skyfox tried to do the same thing : make significant changes to current way of living. Those who cheer at Skyfox capture were the same kind of people that the suicide bomber was.

I love the basic story of Jupiter's Legacy, but there are so many things that didn't make sense. This is one of the few instances where I think the show may be able to improve on the comic. I hope the show will stick with the main essence of the story but give us the answers that the comic doesn't.

Disappointing, I was hoping they had trapped Walter’s mind the way he did Grace. And yeah, if he could have just teleport into Walt’s brain a lot of this could have been stop easily and what was the point of the Skyfox stuff if they were going to kill him so easily? How did they just take away Brandon’s powers. I think they implied that people on the boat also got powers when the wave left the Island and maybe it’s the theory if 6 degrees of separation ?
