For context, my goal time here was a 24:30.9, & I had multiple runs PB by a tenth of a second during the grind. Ending up at a 24:26 is crazy. Every quick kill, effectively perfect RNG, very solid movement. The only real mistake was that Stage 5 squid bonk. Big shout-outs to Vruche's PB for teaching me everything I know about this category!

This is Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, not a Castlevania game, but a more recent game overseen by Koji Igarashi , the producer/story writer over almost all of the Metroidvania Castlevania games. It's kind of a spin off of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, which was created by Iga and Kickstarter funded, and is more of a usual Metroidvania. There's two Curse of the Moon games, (The first actually released before Ritual of the Night) and they are made in 8 bit style and take more inspiration from classic Castlevania, with some more modern features. [s]like not falling through the stairs all the time and breaking the game when you switch characters[/s]
