First of all love before marriage is Haram and love after marriage is ok but you can avoid marriage because love is temporary and career and moral islamic life is eternal if you fall in love with him but did not touch him? Then you are a good muslim woman but if you did then seek repentance and forget him because if you don't get to marry him and you marry someone else then you will probably cheat on your future husband and the punishment is death only so please be careful as a person who deeply Learning islam I suggest you to get married and if you delay it will harm you

1. Learn from your mistakes: don’t fall in love with a guy (free mixing, giggling, chatting, etc) unless that guy FIRST meets your father and is READY to get married, 2. A man can marry without permission of his family, but if he’s financially bounded to them, then he has to be patient or comprised his career. Also It was irresponsible of him by allowing you to fall in love with him without the financial independence to get married. 3. Cut communication with him unless he is actually financially independent and willing to propose or “get to know you” in the halal/dignified way, don’t free mix with any men. Hope ur not too attached to him yet may Allah give you a dignified marriage.
