Jurassic Park III | Velociraptor Chases the Crew and Calls For The Pack

I love this scene as it’s the first time in the Jurassic Franchise that truly highlights the Velociraptor’s Intelligence. In the movies before Jp3, Velociraptors were depicted as smart, but it was never really shown that often and they were mostly just shown to be extremely aggressive.

The interesting fact to the JP3. Is how the raptors were never intending to hunt the humans at all. The only reason they were going after them. Is cause the guy with the camera had stolen two eggs from a nest IE this packs nest. The Raptors been on the chase to recover them. But it is nice to see how they made the Raptors in JP3 to show their real smarts and understanding. While also showing how a Mother's love is determine to recover everyone and not leaving behind a single egg. Even though the nesting grounds had so many (Probably due to multipack relations or something. Unknown on that topic.) But what's more interesting. Is the pack of Raptors is based on Female leadership. You can clearly see this at the end where the Female is the one in control. Which also in her sense see's the other (Humans) being lead by the Female cast. Though it's not really true she's leading them. But to the Raptor she believes the Female is the leader and reason she stole the eggs from her pack. You see how her husband tries to step in to push her back from being 'interrogated' by the female Raptor. But the Raptor hisses for him to piss off and let the 'two' females decide the fate of the two packs. But just as they were about to get the eggs. They were deciding the fate of the humans. Till they started hearing something 'strange' (IE the military nearby on the beach). So the male who is mated with the female leader mentioned it's just best to leave. And so the female ordered her sibs to go as the two mates recovered and left them alone. All in this though the Raptors did also have a slight ally in the island's 'protector'. Which is the Spino. The Spino is the main defender in the island fending off humans from being on it. And you can clearly see during the whole move it's whole focus is chasing after the humans. Even if a T-rex stood in it's way.

Man the way they move and work as a team really showed how threatening they are as a group but also as a single dinosaur, if they weren’t thinking clearly that raptor would’ve eviscerated all of them easily

Jurassic Park III does not deserve the hate it gets, it is a much better movie then most people think of it. It has great action sequences, awesome dinosaurs, and is an adventurous thriller ride of a movie led by Alan grant on isla sorna. Sure, it has a few bad ideas and plot holes but despite the married couple, and any if it’s moments that just feel out of place, it is a pretty good Jurassic Park film. It’s just simply not a great Jurassic Park film like the first one, but it’s most certainly *not* bad at all by any means. The CGI looks just as good as the others, and the pterodactyls and the spinosaurus are great in this movie. Plus this movie is a masterpiece compared to the last two films and it carries so much nostalgia for me like the first two films did.

The velociraptor design from the south of isla sorna it's my favourite velociraptor design in jurassic park it's so cool to see a fur and red head coloration so cool!!! I love the female design too And yeah this movie bring how smart the raptors they make trap with udesky's body and even calling for help

The Velociraptors (especially their designs) and the Spinosaurus are the reasons why Jurassic Park 3 is my 2nd favorite movie of all time. I love the communication and coordination between them with setting up a trap and sending a scout to see who or what stole the eggs. I also loved that we got to saw them running in an open field (even if it was for 1 second). As a kid, I always thought they sounded like motorcycles at 2:08.
