This is amazing, is there somewhere we can donate or support? The only things I would suggest would be to make the raptors slightly faster, and a one hit kill or a quick death animation like alien isolation would increase the dread factor a little more than being able to take hits from them

A quick suggestion: from growing up with Jurassic park and Dino crisis. What about a mode where Dino's can 1 hit you? It'll really add the tension and scares of the originals. Don't hate me for this guys. I thought it was a cool idea 🤣. But I really am so excited for this. Amazing work!

We could add a harder mode. The raptors had to be toned down during the alpha play testing. The testers kept reporting that they were too hard.

The Hard Mode would be one staying in your crosshairs and being evasive while one sneaks up on you. Screen accurate, and exactly what you would expect them to do. ( I realize this is just a demo/practice and they all conveniently run towards you in the direction your Spas-12 happens to be pointing. )

I started getting some footage to showcase the raptor ai and I might do a quick progress video of the project. Where it started and where it is now, but the ps capture is very poor. I was going to look at capture cards.

First of all, I want to say this project is awesome and something I've been wanting to see for decades. However, regarding the Raptor behavior, it strikes me as odd that they run straight at you from about 20 feet away rather than as Alan said, "from the side". Is there some way to tell the AI not to charge at the player until they're within a certain distance to simulate this? The best example I can think of is the headcrabs in Half-life where they will try to path to the player and wait for the right moment to charge. If you just increase the speed during this phase and make them silent, it could almost seem like they're ambushing you. Add a few more Raptors with this behavior, and you have a terrifying experience.

Will there be any other guns in this aside from the Spas-12 shotgun? I know in the movie there were M16 and G3 or HK33 rifles on the gun rack that the Spas-12 was taken from and some of the handlers in the intro were armed with M16s.

I think the shotgun should be a little more slower for shooting and reloading, that way, you have to make sure every shot counts, therefore making it more tense. Additionally, I think you should get rid of the ADS entirely for this weapon and gravitate towards a "precision mode" similar to how muldoon handles his shotgun in the movie. Something like pressing right button will play an animation and slow you down while getting into position for precision shooting, and again, it will take you some time to leave that position to continue hip firing Great job anyway, i just think that the gun should feel slower, heavier, and not so reliable. Which will force you to make wise decisions about it

As we can see, this video focuses on the AI, causing the Raptors to jump out of hiding and rush toward you... Shouldn't we be more secured by the _other two raptors,_ currently flanking us, that we _don't see?_

@@cyborgparrot1996 The whole point of Dreams is that finally PlayStation users will be able to make their own games since there was no tools for them to make them, while PC players can use basically every engine they want. So yeah, almost safe to say Dreams will remain exclusive.

How can someone test this game? I'd like to know what's the begining like, so I could give you my point of view. I'd love to see how you handled the most important part of the game, which is the begining ( if the game doesn't grab the player on the first minutes, players will get bored and that's a bad thing, I would like to see how you will assure players never let their controllers down. Hopefully this project gets the hype it deserves, especially considering you're only 3 devs making the work that 100s of highly paid devs and studios never had the guts to do. To create a decent Jurassic Park game.
