Crazy... i remember seeing that Jurassic park monster truck back in the 90s at the L.A. auto show. I think i even took a picture in front of it...

Not surprised that shop closed down. They were only good at taking your money. But i do enjoy all the videos.

Hopefully they put the front wheels back on correctly at some point..
@MovieCarsCentral6 жыл бұрын
That’s how they installed them in the movie
@OutlawH26 жыл бұрын
@@MovieCarsCentral noticed that in pics you put in one of the vids. While screen accurate it jus introduces a ton of stress to the front end components due to weight being placed on them with different leverage then originally designed for. Wheel bearings and ball joints have a higher chance of premature failure. It would be a shame to see this project end on a bad note because a ball joint snapped going down the road.

Glad you moved it. Jeff Goldblum and the late Richard Attenborough would love this.

after you get the interior done you should consider getting the kenner play set for the trailers and have it in a small display case in the R.V.

Being serious though it's wonderful that you had the passion to restore this and I would have been volunteering to help if I still lived down there. My dad actually worked at Universal I've seen inside most of the Jurassic screen used vehicles and have been to Spielbergs office at Amblin on the lot. Hope to see the RV again someday!

in the end, You should invite Michael Lantieri, Spielberg, Goldblum, and the rest of the original RV crew to baptize the RV in a ceremony reveal. I'm sure someone is sport enough to show up! and they can all sign it.

@MovieCarsCentral7 жыл бұрын
Of course! That will be the fun part when all the hard work is over
@Pr0DlgY7 жыл бұрын
There is some guy/guys who replicated all the JP computer systems and animations in the first movie quite accuratly. I belive someone mentioned they wanted to do The Lost World as well. Would be awesome if you had a couple different animations on the screens above the doors in the RV, different stages of maintenance warnings, with the same sounds. Maybe even integrate it in some of the controlls in the RV? like AC, lights on/off ect. and stuff like that, i know that might be hard.. The novel also expands on details like that. but why not aim high right? LOVE this series, thank you for ressurecting it and keep the updates comming! We are rooting for you brother!
