I live in The Netherlands, but if I lived near by, I would absolutely help you guys! I am a Jurassic Park fan since I was a little kid, and seeing the RV from The Lost World being restored is absolutely awesome! Keep up the good work!

I plan to restore an RV later in life, but something in better shape. However, I understand that it’s a movie RV. Good luck guys! I’ll be watching.

It's funny the little tricks you learn working on vehicles. Loosen the lug nuts before jacking the wheel up so the wheel won't spin. It's easier to fill the tires with air before putting the wheels on the vehicle because there's no weight on them.

dmbjunky a lot of doing things the hard way in this video. I little planning goes a long way.

I mean it's a noble thing you are doing with this video, but you REALLY needed some kind of true gearhead with you to do this... As a career heavy equipment mechanic I have watched quite a few car/truck rescues and restorations... and, (with all the best intentions) you guys seem a bit out of your element. Those tires are perfectly fine so long as they were stored out of the sun, but any halfway knowledgeable gearhead would know that somewhere on the tire the PSI for said tire is listed AND tires that size are easily 75 to 100 PSI

Maybe you should get a textbook that I have been using for my auto tech classes at Barton County Community College that I have been attending in Great Bend, Kansas, 67530. The textbooks cover all the important things that you are doing to restore that RV. The Textbooks author is James D. Halderman, and his textbooks cover everything to properly maintain a vehicle. You can buy the textbooks off of Amazon.com, and/or off of Amazon Prime for $60.00. This might be a money ave, and a helper in the long run, I also can't wait to see the RV Brand, Spanking, Show-Room Quality New. Good Luck!!!

Let's see, you need at least a pancake compressor, an air wrench, and 3-ton floor jack. I highly recommend a Viair onboard air system for this kind of work. $400 and 100% duty cycle, enough oomph to take off and air up tires, among other uses.
