The thing is, that Twitter account has posted a lot of weird rumors that got proven wrong. I doubt they'll go this route especially given how popular the Spinosaurus is as a fan favorite rivaling the Tyrannosaurus. It's also a legacy dinosaur that's constantly demanded by fans for a return. Gareth Edwards, during the making of Godzilla, said he loved Godzilla because of how versatile and scary the monster is. The only dinosaur that fits those categories is the Spinosaurus.

Rexy herself can spend her final years in retirement. Tyrannosaurus itself deserves to be a recurring species, ideally as a new dark green male like the Buck from TLW. Maybe the new Rex from Camp Cretaceous might appear in the next film, but I wouldn't mind either a new or previous theropod species to get the highlight. Also, believable or not, that Rex vs Spino rematch in the ancient ruins sounds so hardcore...

Even for a big T-Rex fanboy like myself, I honestly wouldn't be mad if we didn't get a T-Rex in the new Jurassic film. I think it's about time we give Rex a break from being the star and give some new blood. Not in the disrespectful way where they feel obligated to tear down the Rex just to hype up the new dinosaur but in a way that's tasteful and more in line with the first two JP films. If they have to give T-Rex this new film, let's stop having it be Rexy please; SHE really needs the break. A cameo or a brief mention will be good enough but having a new, younger Rex or even giving some of the other canon Rexes the spotlight would be a much better addition, IMO.

If they're going to be siblings, they should both be males. We haven't seen a male rex since JP3 (minus the Bucks cameo in Dominion), and having siblings would be pretty cool. They'd fight constantly to determine who is the alpha and maybe they would follow the characters around. And I guess you forgot about how much time and effort Stan Winston Studios put into making the dinosaurs in the first two movies as accurate as possible. (The Dilophosaurus was the exception, but even that could, if not should have, been explained away by it having spitting cobra and frilled lizard DNA, yet wasn't for some reason.)

Hey Dangerville, I would like to say that its been sorta confirmed by Camp Cretaceous show runner Scott Kreamer that *Asset 87* on Mantah Corp Island is the same Spinosaurus from Isla Sorna, so thats where he ended up. It can’t have been another Spino, because the OG Spino is reported to have been a genetic accident, he wasn’t supposed to be what they didn’t expect. So how did Mantah Corp end up creating the same type of monster? Its definitely the same individual. So if they’re bringing in a new Spino for JP7, its gotta be an up-to-date scientifically accurate Spinosaurus, as if someone else managed to create a pure specimen.

Okay, hear me out..... What about a T Rex/ Spino rematch over territory like one similar to the one in Dominion with Rexy/Giga. Make it a bit dramatic and have the T Rex win and the Spino walk off. Then have the animals shine in their own separate scenes as antagonists. Then finish off the movie with a newly discovered antagonistic carnivore as a final boss fight. Maybe even a Giga return where the survivors must survive one more time towards the end of the movie. Everyone gets what they want and the movie remains awesome.

In Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous season 5 we did have T-Rex vs Spinosaurus rematch i’m on board for two T-Rexes there are siblings, but you can’t have a Jurassic Park movie without a T-Rex 🦖

They should hold back on the trex until the last movie so its actually feels impactful. Maybe even have a reoccurring antagonist theropod that shows up throughout these new films, (If there's gonna be more than one.) And in the last movie, the big showdown occurs between the trex and antagonist theropod.

I personally would make the main Dinosaur antagonist or antagonists of the film being juvenile T-Rexes. Teenaged Rexes, while much smaller than their parents, were still plenty big enough to be a threat to humans, and being much faster and more agile means that they can't be avoided or outrun the same way Rexy and the other Rexes were in the older movies. They'd also look a lot different as well, as besides being much smaller young T-Rex's had narrower jaws and longer legs in proportion to their size. One or more young T-Rexes would still add the "Hell Yeah T-Rex!" factor to the film while also filling a similar antagonistic role as the Velociraptors. Juvenile Rexes also add a dash of realism for those interested in that since humans are much more likely to make a decent meal to a juvenile T-Rex then the adults, so the human characters being hunted by a pack of young T-Rexes would make a lot more sense then an adult doing the same.

To be fair, Jurassic Park 3 and the Jurassic World movies barely even had the Rex. It had the occasional cameo, but that was it. I think the Rex would be fine sitting out. I dont really like the rex in general. 9 out of 10 times, a rex is always featured. I think we should show our love to other favorite dinosaurs.

It's crazy to me that we are yet to get any kind of prehistoric crocodile or alligator or snake. Like imagine seeing a kaprosuchus chasing down someone through a swamp. And the person gets to land thinking they are safe since crocodiles can't move well on land but then the kaprosuchus comes running full sprint out of the water and you see this odd looking crocodile with long legs running with the agility of a big cat.

Man the T-Rex is a serious stable to the franchise , always had been with rumors of Rex not being present then I hope we see Spinosaurus again cause it was a great dino-villain back in JP-3 and he was terrifying too so i guess wouldnt mind if Rexy takes a absence or just gets a cameo , Spino deserves to be seen since only made 1 appearance and that was 20 years ago which is insane

Imagine for the opening act it's a flashback of Isla sorna Tall green grass with dinosaurs coexisting Triceratops, stegosaurus an other herbivores It begins to RAIN then out comes the spino getting ready to attack a stegosaurus which is interrupted by the DOE They duke it out and the spino dam near KILLS her then out of NO where the BUCK BITES down on the spinosaurus his throat and breaks its neck. The spinosaurus struggles with trying to get up Then the MIGHTY BULL trex stomps on him and roars like the iconic rex from the previous instalments.
