It looks like a turret. I m pretty sure a turret wouldn't use tranquilizers but actual bullets since for sedating purposes people use pistols or rifles

Perhaps for some repaints, you could look at the old Kenner Aliens line...some of their vehicles look like things that would work with Jurassic Park...and they're the same scale as the original JP ones
