I’m still peeved that Jurassic Park, of all franchises, gave an adult T. rex FEATHERS! Sounds are still epic. I don’t suppose you could do the Zuul/terror dog sounds from the new “Ghostbusters”?

Out of curiosity, may I ask what is so wrong with feathers? A tad outdated for Tyannosaurus perhaps but I don’t think they went overboard with them.

@@brontospinusregalia6921 As long as I concerned T. rex is not found in the types of rocks that typically preserve fine soft tissue details like feathers. Other tyrannosaurs--and many other theropods--found in the 'good' rocks have feathers, so simplest assumption is that T. rex did too. T. rex probably had some type of feather, but they may have looked different and been sparser than the feathers of modern birds.

@@MrSserpent valid points. Though my question was more of about a cultural perception of feathered animals. It seems there’s a notion that putting feathers on a Tyrannosaurus, or any dinosaur really, somehow makes them less cool/scary. It’s just curious that people can be terrified of cassowaries, eagles, and geese but seem to scoff at the idea of their favorite dinosaurs can still be just as terrifying with plumage.

@@brontospinusregalia6921 there is such stereotype. While even Glen McIntosh the animation supervisor said there are ways to make feathered dinosaurs scary, some people nowadays simply do not know they were feathered. They’ll have to discover it and then be afraid of. I think what they’ve done with the T. rex is legit since the protofeathers aren’t even seen clearly at some shots. They didn’t cover her fully in furry feathers so doesn’t look “funny” or “not-scary”, it looks rather organic and makes a great difference from the scaly and very reptile-like Giganotosaurus.
