Jurassic World: Dominion - The Giant Locusts Sound Effects

The sound of the locusts in the film is made from the sounds of wood shredding and fast bowing back and forth along the strings of a string instrument, as well as the vocalizations of frogs. Re-recording mixer Pete Horner provided the sound of a swarm of bees, which he obtained by placing a microphone inside the hive.

An interesting addition to the JP franchise. Frankly, I didn’t really like how they hogged the spotlight instead of the dinosaurs, but their sounds and design are epic. Reminds me of Ark: Survival Evolved, where basically every invertebrate is on steroids and will kill you if given the chance.

I think "Dominion" would've been perfect if it had been divided in two parts like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The first one could've been more about living with dinosaurs in our world and could've ended on the locusts scene on the Texas farm. And Part 2 could've been more about what we see in the final version of the movie we have now.

Breeding mutant vermin, unleash them onto competitor farmlands to ruin said lands, buy said land, grow your own food, sell your crops and livestock at prices only the wealthy can afford. Basically what bill gates and other techno crates are planning but without monster vermin animals as weapons. In fact done in the worst way possible, could lead to genocide(s).
