Man being born in the mid 80s , wasnt aware of our last league titles. Have had to watch 4 different teams take turns in periods of dominance, and watch 6 overall, win the league. Dont remember the Leeds title either. But they make 7. Anyways, to be where we at now, mid 30s and to see us walking over everyone of those teams, being already European and world champions and swatting aside any team we play is like dreamland. At which point in time could they have made a case for sacking him? In his first season Liverpool reached the Europe League final, played some epic matches, and he had the excuse of having taken over in the middle of the season. In his second season he got the coveted CL spot. And we all know how things took off after that.
