Journey Smollet is a really underrated actress. She has excellent range, real believable emotion in roles, & the sweetest next door neighbor wholesome Hollywood girl persona in the entire industry… she is definitely & easily one who could be considered an icon in her own right. Going from Eve’s Bayou (excellent major breakout role) all the way up to roles in shows like Lovecraft Country (phenomenal role & show), Spiderhead, and ALL the many shows/series in between (& before/after). The girl is true talent. She’s just not elevated as high as most in her industry because she didn’t drink the koolaid/ sell her soul for fame/fortune. Big Kudos to Journey for showing people that you CAN be IN Hollywood but not OF Hollywood. Job well done!👏🏽👏🏽
