Obviously not 100% since we don't know them personally, but up until this point the things they've said have been proven to be true, and as far as we know they haven't lied to us. So yes, when they sign their name to an affidavit, it actually holds some weight. On the other hand, the Commonwealth has proven themselves to be straight up liars and snakes. So no, some court filing from an anonymous person calling themselves "juror doe" does not hold the same weight as something filed by Jackson or Yanetti.

Bederow is a practicing an attorney and there’s no upside for him to acknowledge potential corruption in the case, BUT…we’re on the verge of severe naïveté here. This Juror Doe is absolutely pro prosecution and I would bet serious money this individual will never come forward in any fashion to confirm if there was a unanimous vote for Not Guilty. I also believe there’s a strong possibility there was at least one compromised juror. At what point will people see the possibility that the corruption in this case went all the way to the deliberation room?

*sigh* Someone in the chat said Falls River Reporter Jessica Mercado was giving enough details to dox a juror. Do people just not understand what doxing is? All she did was describe physical appearance in broad terms, rough ages, and behavior. Hundreds if not thousands of people in that county could match EVERY one of those descriptions. Saying they were a police officer as was reported and now works in medical during selection is NOT doxing. Doxing is literally saying: “This person is and They live at / Their phone number is / they work / Their email is / They drive a .” THAT is doxing. Describing someone as a middle aged woman with glasses and dark hair gets you NO WHERE. The only people that will make the association is people that ALREADY know them. And as long as those friends/coworkers/family/etc dont give their details out, well there’s NO doxing. NOTHING she did was illegal, nor did it broach on being improper.

Watched trial. Do not see how KR was not acquitted imo. However..... I totally get where this juror is coming from. Even if this statement is most likely a bit exaggerated. I'd feel the same way given what I have seen from the public and media and what was presented in court. There is so much vitriol. Even harassment for people making public comment on the tube. It was also speculated the foreman was a lawyer. We now know the foreman was a former police officer & have heard nothing about any attorneys being on the jury. I hope we'll know at some point but the only things we know for sure have come from Ajax & Yaneti & Turtleboy reported speaking to the foreman. All else has been speculation. I was SO hoping the other 7 or 8 would speak out before Monday but it's looking like that won't happen. Sadly.

None of you are interpreting this correctly. Whoever wrote this may have used a lawyer to make the language compatible with the court, but the tone and tenor of the letter are very much intentional by the juror. FACTS ABOUT THIS JUROR- 1) He or she is one of the ones who wanted to convict on count 2. 2) He or she was solidly pro prosecution and resented the defense attorneys 3) He or she was- against the judges orders- reading about the trial during the trial (this I deduce from his/her disdainful remarks about the demonstrators- it wasn’t possible to hear them inside the courthouse during the trial so what caused him/her to become so annoyed they’d lie about that….? Also, it’s odd to go out of one’s way to claim “I don’t know the details” when mentioning that “somebody” associated with the case was accused of witness intimidation; hmm….) 4) He or she does not genuinely feel intimidated or threatened- CERTAINLY not by the KR supporters not a single one of whom has said or done anything remotely violent 5) This letter is designed to bolster the prosecution/commonwealth; he or she saw that the trend over the last few days was towards a possible dismissal of counts 1 & 3 on the basis of double jeopardy, and he or she was either offended that one of the informant jurors decided to “speak for them, or they are simply the kind of obstinate person whose instinctive reaction to being irate is obstructionism 6) Finally, if a hearing is ever held r.e. the possible acquittal on charges 1 & 3, he or she is going to dispute the claim that they were unanimous; whether their denial is true or false is harder to decipher- I would guess false; but pragmatically it will have the same effect: it will kill the defenses motion and put KR in double jeopardy This person is the sort who is easily aggrieved, probably politically conservative, irritable, vindictive and above all obstinate. There are several on Twitter who were being aggressive & saying jurors are idiots & should be outed, etc, but bc online no way to know if they even live in the area. I can empathize with not wanting your name out there- & it can can depend if youve had harrassment or DV your past. Jurors didnt know that they were signing up for such a contentious case. Maybe some men cant relate to people who have less latitude for online or other potential harrassment. Im not arguing w the other things you say, they could be being influenced, but that isnt mutually exclusive w being weirded out about personal safely.

I don’t know how the Jury could be hung up on any of the charges. It’s so black and white to so many of us! We feel like you’d have to blind to not be able to see it. But we had to respect their decision. Which I believe most of us has done along with our opinions. I can’t imagine the Jurors didn’t expect any of us to keep our opinions to ourselves in order not to hurt the Jurors opinion.

THAT's what you say to someone who has every right to be nervous about being doxxed or worse, given the volatility currently surrounding this farce of a trial - ? Look, I don't know if this affidavit is from a real juror or not, but if it IS, then everyone here who was dragging them should be ashamed. - 40:19, Baker, about TB: "Nowhere has he ever said anything about jurors." - TB, in the video that Baker was blocked from viewing: [after bragging about having "everything" on the Karen Read foreman, incl. his name, his LinkedIn, etc.]: "Why do you think they want to impound the (Karen Read) jurors' names? Regardless of whether this affidavit is "real," the KR jurors have every right to feel worried and scared about what could happen if their names are released. And if you're jeering at any of them, or accusing them of being "dramatic" because they're afraid, then YOU are the one who needs to "crawl back in your hole and be quiet." Doxxing is SERIOUS. It's a horrific, terrifying invasion. It takes away all sense of security. Until you're the one threatened with the very real possibility of strangers stalking you wherever you go, following you home, harassing you day and night, calling you every name in the book, and doing god only knows what else - especially when you've done absolutely nothing wrong - you might try leading with a bit more kindness first, before you judge someone else quite so harshly.

@@kimyakowski9208 so don't read it, I'm sure I'll survive. - ETA: Here's the Cliffs Notes: 1) Many in the live chat were pretty nasty toward the person speaking in the Affidavit (until it's proven otherwise, I'm going to give benefit of the doubt and accept that it's a KR juror). I think Baker's channel is better than to allow this kind of talk. 2) TB has, in fact, spoken about jurors; there's video out there of him doing so (I transcribed part of it above). 3) It's sickening to see so many people willing to judge & crucify someone who is just trying to protect themselves & be safe.
