Thank you so much! I was so pleased to see my work in here. I love Repper. I made about 85 patterns for this collection and it was so hard to choose just a few. It's so much fun creating with this tool!

Omg, it was such a joy to wake up to this video dropping, I couldn’t stop watching and enjoying everyones work and feedback! Thank you so much for your feedback, it was like you highlighted the decisions I struggled with the most when making this collection as being the right choice in the end! Was truly such a wake up call to reignite my creative journey. I am always excited to go into repper, I think it’s my favorite software from all the design tools I use. I had over 120 patterns and it was unbelievably hard to choose just these and let go of more intricate ones. It was an amazing challenge, it made me step out of my comfort zone but also have fun. I saw a comment about the source image, I actually used something Michel teaches here on KZbin, I made some source images with my color palette, made patterns with repper and made other patterns from those. That part was a blast honestly, the choosing only a few not so much :)) Michel, I actually made simple source images for the blenders in each pair of colors and didn’t use any effects. I’ve dreamt of becoming a fabric pattern designer for a while now, so actually the 3d model for the fabric in repper is my favorite one. Wouter, I could not gave up either hero :)) and for the secondaries I replaced them at least 10 times until I accepted that these were the best choice for the collection, even though I worried about having the hexagon in both :) I was so touched to hear bold choice about my collection, because a week after submitting I kept thinking to myself that I was not bold at all and surely everything seems monoton. Sorry for the long comment, I am so excited about this challenge and your valuable insights and I can’t wait for the next one! All the best to you!

Congrats Lia for winning the jury prize! Thanks for your amazing work and glad to hear you are finding valuable tips in our videos. Wow, you actually made separate source images with your color palette. Makes me appreciate your collection even more. ;-)

I wish all of the entries showed their source image. Fascinating

Woohoo! Thank you for the critique! I'm not one to usually enter contests, but I was like why not try. Pleasantly surprised at getting the most votes.

4:09 Thank you for your feedback. It was so fun to make these patterns with repper. I used my own image and initially made arround 200 patterns in the app just trying all the tilings. Then I made another 50 when assembling the collection. I appreciate these challenges because often is difficult to design for yourself but when you have a little bit of direction combined with creative freedom it becomes fun and easier to envision on what products you can apply the motifs. I loved many of the submissions and the original use of the patterns.

Wow, that makes a total of... 250 patterns you created!!! Awesome! Really loved your work, wish I could buy this pillow, would fit perfectly here. ;-)

@@repper Thank you. I uploaded some of the patterns on Zazzle. I posted a link on my channel if you want to check it out. The app is reminding me of the Kaleidoscope toy and I experiment with colors and shapes of the source image to see what will come up.

Thanks for the really thoughtful critique of my designs! I refined it a lot more after this was submitted. I love that it was one of your picks. (Mine is the fish themed collection; it didn't include my name.)

Nice! Curious what the refined version would look like. 🙂 Think you already made an amazing job on the version you submitted. Great style, keep up the great work!

Thank you very much for highlighting my designs. (These are the ones with the cat as the source file) I'm a big fan of Repper. Repper combined with Procreate and Photoshop is a powerful tool. And it still manages to surprise me.

Question: How or where do they display their patterns on the dress ? the black and white dress is gorgeous... well done to everyone who was featured. I'd love to experiment
@repper5 ай бұрын
I am not sure how she created the dress. I expect it's a mockup. I sometimes make mockups by using placeit.net although it's a paid service. But has tons of nice mockups to put patterns on. I'm not sure if it has dresses though. It's also possible to put patterns on any picture using photoshop although that takes some skills (and a photoshop license) Have fun!
