NGL, I love that the judge took the opportunity to relive the case and lecture Jussie for the cameras (cameras the defense refused for trial). Clearly money is no object, but to have the case explained for the court of public opinion did more damage to Jussie. You can see the whiplash on Jussie's face as the judge cites all the social work he's done, and then uses it as evidence he should know better. He was absolutely chewed out in public and in front of his family, and they had to sit there and take it. That and the fact he has to spend at least some time in jail is satisfactory to me. Damn the judge’s speech was more punishing than the jail time! I’m so glad the judge did not send him to the penitentiary, in America that’s like a cheap hotel as far as living conditions. Sending him to the Cook county jail is what you would expect out of jail; it sucks! Jails are funded just barely enough to keep everyone inside alive, just barely.
