While Madness and the Specials got most of the attention, Bad Manners was pumping out banger after banger. I was fortunate to have opened for them (and Busters all Stars) several times in Southern California way back in the late 80s, some of the most fun shows I ever played, and Buster is about the nicest guy you’ll ever meet, and funny AF! My niece in her early 20's from France and he Belgian boyfriend were visiting us in Canada and as I came down for breakfast one morning they were playing a song on a phone. They said if the music was too weird for me they would shut it off. It was "Too Much Pressure" by the Selector. What I was listening too when I was there age. The point is is that young people have through the internet virtually unlimited access to decades of popular music and since today's pop music sucks balls it's little surprise that they look to the past for decent music.
