Grandma was a bush pilot and instructor in Alaska. She got her instructor license in '58. She had an Aeronca, I believe it was a chief. She flew to pick the plane up from the factory and had floats put on it. When she went into labor she had to fly herself to Juneau to have the baby. Awesome lady.

Once upon a time we did the same type of thing but with rc model planes instead. We called it rc bowling. We used 1 gal plastic bottles, brand new yellow ones fresh off the production line supplied by a fellow flyer who made them at work. Filled them with a small amount of water and set them up like bowling pins. Yes sir there was some carnage.but such fun. Think I did a fund raiser for the club after lunch. For $1 you got 5paint balls and the chance to either shoot at a slow flying model airplane, or take a shot at a hovering model helicopter. Most chose the heli as it stayed mostly stable. Got some cool photos of paint balls just missing and flying past. So I know what crazy fun can be had when a group of like minded guys get together for some good clean fun. Thanks so much for sharing this video
