I'll give you a tip for a thick lasagne white sauce Graham and it's lovely,take a tin of macaroni cheese and blend till smooth,you'll never buy another jar,I haven't made lasagne, bolognese mince or a stur fry in a pan for ages,I now do it in the air fryer basket,without the crisper tray obviously,air fry for a few minutes at a time and stir regularly until cooked,and as far as the potato being a little bit uncooked you should have an internal temp of between 96 and 99c for potatoes,that's when I know my baked potatoes are ready without cutting into them,that's a great idea for the no pasta lasagne,I'm going to have a go at that,another really enjoyable and entertaining video guys 😂👍👏👏👏👏

Hi Richard, that’s different using Macaroni cheese as a white sauce. I don’t remember ever having tinned macaroni cheese full stop. That’s one to try 👍. We add an odd piece of potato not quite cooked although ok on the second day. It was all a bit of a laugh mate and that doesn’t hurt any of us. 👋👋👋👋👋👍

@grahamgetsabout2672 I usually keep a couple of tins for making the white sauce and for a quick and easy ready meal,obviously home made is better but just making some toast and shoving a bowl of tinned macaroni in the microwave for a couple of minutes when I come in off a backshift and can't be bothered preparing something at 8pm is all I need

Oh what a lovely meal I'll have to do that my son doesn't like lasagne it's the pasta sheets he doesn't like .that reminds me a bit like what mum used to make .it was sliced potatoes layered sliced potatoes then onions do the slices potato andd onions til the top of the dish then just put about enough water to cover just over a quarter of the dish as the potatoes cooking will my make water put a lid on the dish and check about half way cooked when nearly done put layers of bacon on it and cook til done it's so nice we called it scotch scollops andi my sister inlaw called it bacon dinner love to you andi wendy love fran xxxx

hi graham, this is what i cooked when the kids were at home, and wendys right a sauce with herbs and basil would have made a lot of difference. if you had left it to settle for a little while,it would have cut a lot better and will taste much nicer when left overnight. it looked very nice with the salad, and as vince says wheres ours. love to you both xxxxx

Hi Grace, we’re making the just grabbed the jars quick in Lidl after you mentioned doing it this way. I should have put it as a cheap meal for four shouldn’t I. It looked a little sloppy and as you say it was much better on the second day, much firmer and more tasty. You can show me the proper method when we stay over in the bunk beds. 😂😂😂😂😂 I can just see us having a pillow fight with the grandchildren. Love Graham and Wendy xxx
