Yesterday I told myself I was going to shave with Dural today. Then I wake up to this video! So I had to watch it while shaving. Dural is very nice. It is now one of my favorites. I've been using the shave dad razor since it arrived. It is a good daily driver for me. Have a great 4th Bary.

Great shave and great razor Bary! I found this razor works best on 1-3 days growth. Any more and it starts tugging (for me). Can't wait to see what people think of the open comb base plate, and if it allows the razor to handle more hair. Enjoy your independence day!

Great shave. Not a fan of light DE razors, I tend to over pressure. That Razor is a Brute, beautiful razor, the extra heft in an Aluminum razor is sure to help out. How is the balance? Happy 4th Barry.

i am the same with Aluminum or light razors. This is the first one I have actually liked. I forgot to show the balance in the vid. But it is perfect and in the correct position for me. Ill show it in another video coming up. Usually aluminum razors are inherently top heavy. But the larger handle solves that for me. Still one of the lightest in my collection, but a joy to use. Always appreciate you watching sir. Have a great 4th!

What is your favourite knot size? I have 2 - 26 mm brushes so I have no experience with other sizes.

I have mostly 26mm. But i think I prefer 24mm when it comes to badger or synthetic. Boar I like 26mm or larger. i do have 1 28mm G5c knot in a beautiful Sawdust Creations handle that I like very much. I guess that answers your question clear as mud right? lol.

Couldn't hurt to give it a try. My reason is the larger brushes splay so much it covers half my face lol. I have a big head but a small face lol. And I prefer the performance of a smaller knot as well. A little more backbone.

Love audio Feedback too, that's why I love the Merkur Progress and my Razorock MJ 90 A - the MJ 90 A has an Aluminium head but 316L handle - so it is great to shave with and love the singing of the razor - but different blades make different sounds.
