You vlogs could never be described as "just another canal vlog really", each one is awe-inspiring and peacefully beautiful. They are compulsive viewing and I can't wait to see whats going to turn up around each and ever corner! You just "keep crankin' it". And keep that wonderful music coming too. Your vlogs are simply a perfect way to chill in this far too busy day and age. Thank you for all your hard work. It is appreciated and LOVED. ❤️😉👍👏

I live very near the Grand Union in Aylesbury. I’ve walked from home to the Paddington basin in London ( 3 days) and from Marsworth to Blisworth (2 days) on hiking adventures. Love chatting to boaters and there’s a real lifestyle thing about the canal network. The calm, the open countryside stretching for mile upon mile, and the transition into a major conurbation. My wife and I love Canal Boat Diaries, and to happen across your channel is a bonus. Great stuff Robbie!!

Been watching you videos for years now....did a fair few holidays on the network. Then the draw became too much and I got my own. Me and my daughter have just brought our first boat up from whilton marina to Leeds liverpool canal. Passing all the places we watched on your channel on the way. Its unfortunate the fuel went through the roof during the process....but I get the mental health side you have mentioned. My work world fell apart during the return voyage....but who cares when your on the back of your boat....it can wait another day. Silence of mind can't be divided and that what you get on your boat....maybe not yours with that engine🤣🤣🤣. With so many channels packing in....don't leave us....keep up the good videos👍🙏 Take this as a compliment....my friends and family have called me Stuart cummings🙈🤷‍♂️ We are cranking it!!

Yes we have a 60 ft ...came through those locks last year. We'd watched a few vloggers to get an idea what to expect and asked other boaters on the FB groups so had lots of good advice. Took bow and stern fenders off and sealed up the back doors of the trad stern with plastic bags and lots of tape....plus bilge pump running so no water in back of boat. Daunting experience though....not in a rush to repeat it 🤪😂

Hello from Az Robbie and 112 degrees for a high today. What keeps me coming back to your vlogs and a few other like minded vloggers, is the fact that you don't make the CRT the scapegoat for everything that doesn't go right in their everyday travels. I imagine the system has always been a challenge to maintain and always will be, however after being able to experience its challenges through vloggers like yourself, i look forward to returning home to become a part of narrowboat life whilst im still able. Keep sharing your fascinating adventures please? Thanks.

Wonderful video as always, great seeing West Yorkshire again. Look forward to keeping up with you as you head east. Shame you missed that bit from Salterhebble Lock to Sowerby Bridge. Years ago we rescued the charity boat from there after they flooded the engin room by mistake and towed them back to base at Sowerby Bridge. Watching your video's brings back happy memories; and well done, at how adept you are at jumping from gunnels to lock ladder; couldn't manage that these days, Best Regards, PMh

Oh I wish I had known you were passing through my home town of Mirfield, twice. You chose a good spot to Moor up. I often park there and walk the canals and river in both directions. Those two steel bridge supports in the middle of the river are known locally as Titanic's Funnels. The originally supported a cross over bridge for horses pulling barges and also railwaymen getting to the engine sheds that used to be there. Hence the name of the Railway pub. The Flowerpot has some excellent Real Ales by Ossett Brewery and is ok in the Navigation Tavern. That old iron footbridge is quite rare. I think there are only two others on the rail network. Alas, there are plans to remove it when the line is electrified because the cables would be too close. I hope they rebuild it on some heritage line somewhere. I often walk across it. Thanks for showcasing Mirfield known as Flower Town because we win the Britain in Bloom contest regularly. Love the place you live. I always enjoy your vlogs. I hope you got your truck fixed.

Looks like the last pub was definitely POTW material, darts, pool table, live music and lively group of people. That's a bummer about the clutch going out on your truck. I made an effort to replace my own and found it had a hydraulic clutch assembly and that it entailed more work than I was willing to exert so I took it to a shop.
