Engage has partnered with a lot of local big sports teams (MLB, NHL, NBA) in Florida and have given away similar paddles. It’s usually a paint grit paddle with the sports team symbol along with standard Engage design.

FYI. Dong was the first to do the 18k thing probably 6 months or so before Diadem ever did. It was a great paddle but he decided not to release it. He didn’t think the performance was worth the extra cost. A few of us thought it was his best beta

I prefer the rounded edge and matte edge guard but Engage paddles are generally out of my price range. I was considering a Hudef Gen 2 but I ended up getting J2K Pro recently

Exited about the fx esp compared to how it feels vs the kevlars. I like the grid graphic so you immediately know what it is. Personally, without hitting any of them, I think Kevlar as a buzzword is only relevant when the ruby (all court leaning control) first came out, where the diff btwn it and the DbD was so minor. With the new kev/cf hybrids and power-leaning kevs, like the hudeff3, j2k pro, azu, Mark, hurachexKev, based on reviews kev seems to make a bigger difference bc (as reviewers said about the hufeff) you can get the benefits of power but with a dampen on the pop/stiffness for a bit better feel. I'm def curious about how will compares the hudeffs to each other and other similar kev/cf.

Engage and Omega came out with new paddles. The Raptor and Raptor X. Hope you get to review them! I think the Raptor X is a better version of the Hurache-X ! more pop and power

Playing with the current Ronbus Pulsar R1. Will be interested to see how the new FX version compares. Prefer the cleaner graphic on the current Pulsar but don't hate the new one. I've got neon blue edge tape on mine to make it easier to spot so I like the light blue edge on the FX. Really like my current paddle so not sure what would make me want to switch. Looking forward to specs and review.
