What is unreasonable about what the Senator said? To build what they said and this doesn't cover the super large ones, just the ones that are as tall as the Statue of Liberty, about $ 4 million each, making the total of $1,512,-000,000+ not counting the $42k to $48k a year for each one to maintenance, and the land and the power line maintenance is more. Considering the pollution to even build them is very high when you consider a nuclear plant can last up to 40 years and a wind turbine only 20, you forget the cost is very high. That is land that people can live on, grow food on, and more. What is more practical is nuclear power, less land, less maintenance, and the same power. If you want to push solar, then pay for each house to have solar energy added to it, the house is already there so it's a little more practical than using hun over a hundred thousand acres of land. Even then you run into the need for backup energy, a better power gird which ours if failing and we are truly putting the cart before the horse with EVs, we don't have the power grid to support the energy required, then we have to depend on China for the batteries, and we need those for solar energy too. On paper, it sounds good, however, we are NOT ready for this to happen because the technology isn't there yet. Right now, the largest airplane that is electric can hold 2 people and maybe fly 200 miles. I want to see Airforce One be all-electric, how soon do you expect that to happen and still fly the same speed, the same height, and the same distance? Those that are pushing Green the way they are will put us back into the middle ages, Research for what the truth is not what you think it should be. Should we work towards that? Yes, but we're not ready to waste the land like this, that's BS. Go look at what happened to a wind turbine that fails, there are a lot of videos of them on KZbin, but these don't make it to the 20 year life span, that's an estimate and most of those are small ones that last 20 years

Wind turbines are inefficient, costly, an eye sore, we have to use tons of earth minerals to build, and oil. Each turbine holds 330 gallons or more of oil with high pressure additives in each one. This oil has to be changed regularly because the high pressure additive degrades. If not changed in time, the high pressure created by the gears meshing results in fire. Running a wind farm uses tons of oil and you have to change it high in the air. Lots of mishaps. Just go walk around some wind farms. Then there is the fiberglass blades that have to be disposed of and never decay, there here forever in landfills. What a scam!

This lady is probably the most unimpressive cabinent member I have ever seen testify before Congress in the 30 years I have been watching congressional hearing. She is clearly in over head with her job as Secretary of Interior. This lady, like Janet Yellen, is your classic a DEI hire, she was selected for this big job only because she was a women and because she was an I American Indian, a member of tribe. For Biden, and his "woke" fanatic staffers, experience, education, talent, ability - none of these things matter when selecting a cabinent member, the only things that matters is gender, skin color, and setting up a situation where a reporter can write, "First Indian named to a cabinent job". Bumbling Kamala Harris got her job that way too, after she got appointed to her VP job Democratic reporters could write that story they love to write, "First Perons of Color to Get VP Job". For Joe Biden and his staffers it's all about checking off the boxes, they want to be able to say "Look how diverse our cabininet and our Judiciary appoinbtments have been. " The fact that Janet Yellen is completely incompetent, as is Kamala Harris, and thiis Debra Halladand, that's no big thing - the thing that really matters is checking off the boxes!
