🤔😊…I found the MBM foundation to be very dewy , and just sat on my skin 🤷‍♀️. I have typical combo skin , and I live in Palm Beach Florida where the humidity lended itself to increased oiliness after just a couple of hours of wearing the foundation ☹️. I did though exchange the foundation for the newest Hourglass released foundation at Sephora , and it looks and wears fabulously 👍! I do love your recommendations, and find them to be extremely helpful that you cover for mature skin as well 👏! This 58 year old appreciates you taking a genuine interest in my demographic 👍!!

The Rare Beauty Highlighter doesn’t go deep enough for my skin tone. But it looks like Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter has a really nice shade for brown skin. I guess I have to support the brand with the better shade range😭😭😭

I love when you use the colorful shadows. I hated the too faced blush lol. Mine went on incredibly patchy. It was a darker one watermelon rain I think or something and it clung in spots and didn't want to blend even when I put down a powder first. The first time it went terrible on the make-up by Mario without setting it so I set a different foundation and it was still patchy but wearable at least.

I am almost finished with my Kosas revealer concealer. I plan on trying a different concealer. I do like the effect of the Kosas, but the scent is a dealbreaker for me. As soon as I use it, my nose starts to run. It is so annoying.

Now, if we break down cost per ounce on the highlighters, the Rare Beauty actually ends up being MORE expensive than CT...$25/2.8 grams vs $45 for 7 grams - so, more than double. Of course, you may not USE 7 grams of highlighter, but it is worth noting.

I hated the make-up by Mario foundation so much I actually returned it. The color match was almost perfect though. It looked amazing for about 5 minutes but it always felt sticky as and it looked dry throughout the day.

Every other review I've seen if that foundation has said it's super and a few oilier skin people haven't liked it. The people I've seen like it have been more normal skin who love a lot of glow and don't have a lot of wrinkles or large pores. Just goes to show how differently things work on people. It's not a product I'm interested in but it looks good on you.

For me, no matter what I used, it looked pretty bad. I use many hydrating products before I use my primer and foundation and no matter if I used a sponge or brush it wouldn't work. Which is not surprising since I can't seem to find a foundation to adhere to my skin. I have dry and sensitive skin and no matter what I try, I can't seem to get any foundation to work. I have tried over 55 + foundations and powder foundations and nada.

I've typically really liked the same foundations you do but it's never going to be spot on right? I've heard oily ppl complain it's too glowy but it looks so dry around my mouth and nasal labial folds or whatever my nostrils lol which is the dryer areas on my face.
